I would normally consider that, but seeing as the same problem occured when
I was attempting it on Corel Linux (based on Debian) I don't think that this
is the problem.  Seeing as Mandrake is based on RedHat, and I am using 6.1
and not 7, I wouldn't have thought it to be the problem.  I have run
StarOffice and WordPerfect on Mandrake with no hassles, Netscape is fine,
previous versions of Abiword (Mandrake 6.1 shipped with Abiword 0.7.5) are
fine.  I have not noticed any other bugs.
